Right to play is the leading international humanitarian and development organization whose mission is to improve the lives of children in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the world by using the power of sport and play for development, health and peace. Right to play brings games into the lives of children who live areas that have been affected by war, poverty, and disease in order to create a social change. The main goal of Right to play is to protect child’s right to play and give children a chance to become constructive participants in society regardless of gender, disability, ethnicity, social background or religion.The children Right To Play works with have been seriously affected by conflict, poverty and disease. Right To Play Coaches help to provide normalization to these children, by getting the children out and active. Through regular sport and play activities, Right To Play Coaches also teach children about self-esteem, conflict resolution, and important health issues. Right to play creates a safe place for children to learn and fosters the hope that is essential for children to envision and realize a better future.
